Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 1, 2026

This Policy explains how Bizsys Consulting LLC ("Bizsys Consulting LLC", "we", "us", or "our") handles personal information when you use Tableside — our online booking software — whether you book an appointment as a Customer, run a Business account, or simply visit our site. When you book with a Business, that Business decides how it uses your information for its own purposes; for those uses, the Business is responsible and you should contact it directly.

1. Scope & our role

Tableside serves two audiences, and our role differs for each:

  • When you book as a Customer, we collect and process your booking information on behalf of the Business you are booking with. That Business is the controller of its Customer information and uses it for its own purposes under its own privacy practices. For those uses, please contact the Business directly.
  • When you use a Business account, or when you visit our marketing pages, Bizsys Consulting LLC is the controller of that information (for example, your account details, your subscription, and how you use the platform).

This Policy does not cover how an individual Business uses your information outside of Tableside, or third-party sites we link to.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide when booking (Customers). When you book on a Business's Booking Page, we collect your name, mobile phone number, email address, any optional notes you add, the service and any add-ons you select, your appointment date and time, and — if the Business enables it — an optional preference (such as a gender preference) used to match you with a provider. Whether you opt in to text reminders is also recorded.

Account information (Business users). When you register a Business account, we collect your name, email address, and a password (stored only in secure, hashed form — we never store it in plain text), along with your business profile (business name, address, phone, timezone), your staff, services, hours, and branding.

Billing information (Business users). Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Bizsys Consulting LLC stores billing identifiers (such as your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, plan, and status) but does not store your full payment card number — that is handled by Stripe.

Information we collect automatically. Like most online services, we automatically collect certain technical information when you use Tableside — such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and actions taken — through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • create and manage Bookings, and deliver booking details to the Business you booked with;
  • send booking confirmations, reminders, changes, and other service messages by email and — if you opt in — SMS;
  • create, operate, and secure Business accounts, and process subscription billing;
  • provide customer support and respond to your requests, including privacy requests;
  • operate, maintain, analyze, and improve the Services, and measure the performance of our own marketing (including subscription sign-ups);
  • detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

4. SMS/text messaging

If you opt in to text messages when booking, your mobile number is used to send appointment reminders and booking-related notifications from the Business you booked with, sent via Tableside. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Each reminder includes a link to cancel that appointment. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help at any time.

No mobile information (including your phone number and your text-messaging opt-in or consent) will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

5. Cookies & analytics

Essential cookies. We use a secure session cookie to keep Business users signed in and a token to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. These are necessary for the Services to work.

Analytics & advertising. Bizsys Consulting LLC may use Google Analytics on its own marketing and application pages to understand usage and measure sign-ups. Separately, a Business may add its own Google Analytics and/or Google Ads tags to its Booking Page; in that case the Business is the controller of that tracking and it operates under the Business's own settings and privacy practices. These tools may set cookies and collect usage and device information.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on, and many browsers support a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor as an opt-out of "sharing"/targeted advertising where applicable.

6. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the Services:

  • With the Business you book with — so it can prepare for and manage your appointment.
  • With service providers who operate the platform on our behalf, including Stripe (subscription payments), Twilio (SMS delivery), our email delivery provider, and Google (analytics). They may process information only to provide their service to us.
  • For legal reasons — to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and security of Bizsys Consulting LLC, our users, or the public.
  • In a business transfer — if Bizsys Consulting LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Our use of Google Analytics and Google Ads on our own pages may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some state privacy laws; you can opt out as described in Section 5. As stated in Section 4, mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never shared for third-party marketing.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Booking records are retained while the associated Business account is active so the Business has its appointment history; account and billing records are kept for the life of the account plus any period required for tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, and legal compliance. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. A Business keeps its own copy of its Customers' booking records; to have those deleted, contact the Business directly.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, hashing of account passwords, access controls, and reliance on reputable processors (such as Stripe for card data). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please protect your login credentials and notify us at support@booktableside.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. You can:

  • Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to a message.
  • Manage cookies and analytics through your browser and the controls in Section 5.
  • Request access, correction, or deletion of information Bizsys Consulting LLC holds about you by contacting us at support@booktableside.com.

Because a Business controls its own copy of its Customers' information, requests about that data may need to be directed to the Business. We will help route such requests where we can.

10. State privacy rights

Residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to know the categories of personal information we collect and disclose, the right to access, correct, and delete personal information, the right to opt out of "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising," and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise these rights, email us at support@booktableside.com; we will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by law. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response. We do not use personal information to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you.

11. Children

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at support@booktableside.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Third-party links

The Services may link to websites or services we do not operate — for example, a Business's own website, Google, or Stripe. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties; please review their privacy policies.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
